Unfortunately we had to discontinue the original AUSCB. We went to do another production run only to find that some of the components and chips are now redundant. We have been doing the AUSCB for 10 years, and really dislike having to discontinue a product. It was a good radio.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We still have some accessories available for the AUSCB.
The SIERRA has replaced the AUSCB. It has the latest modern circuitry and components, longer battery life, larger channel capacity, a slightly more sensitive receiver and uses the more common Kenwood style 2 pin 3 pole plug and wiring definition.
* Please note that many of the accessories between the AUSCB and SIERRA are not cross compatible. Please choose the correct accessories from the model description.
