Please note that the Sierra radio does not come with a C-type battery as standard, but with a dock charge battery of higher capacity. This C-type battery is a separate purchase. Then using the USB adapter to charge, it may take a little longer than when using the Charging Dock, due to the amperage required and available from a 5V USB port.
